Our Mission

Commerce international Côte-Nord, formerly CORPEX, is an organization that promotes exports (ORPEX). It is a non-profit organization funded primarily by Canada Economic Development (CED) and the ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec (MEI).

The mission of Commerce international Côte-Nord is to support the SMEs from the North Shore in their overseas business development.

The Corporation’s objectives are to:

• Increase awareness of opportunities for economic growth derived from export among the SMEs from the North Shore;
• Set up training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of exporters from the North Shore region in order to help them familiarize themselves with the procedures related to exports;
• Work alongside the export SMEs in the implementation of their initiatives related to the export markets;
• Promote alliances and consortiums to ensure the continued growth of export companies.
